Hidden nose-wire over the nose bridge allows a custom fit over your nose. The mask attaches by a hook and loop closure.

ColdAvenger face masks work by creating a micro-climate in front of your nose and mouth. A portion of each exhaled breath is retained in the ventilator cup and passively humidifies the next inhaled breath. The ventilator also manages extra moisture away from skin and allows for 100% free breathing where other masks eventually freeze up.
Will my goggles fog? Preventing goggles and glasses from fogging is tough. The ColdAvenger® was designed to be worn with goggles where there is a better seal between your goggles and your face mask. When worn properly, the ColdAvenger mask will not fog your goggles.
Will my glasses fog? We make no claim or guarantee that ColdAvenger will prevent fogging of glasses. Some of our customers have found that the ColdAvenger® does not fog their glasses; however, some customers have found that their glasses may fog while wearing our mask.
Will the foam insert help fogging? We sell a self-adhesive foam insert, which fits directly inside the ventilator over the nose bridge. This foam insert will improve comfort, and has also been found to eliminate fogging of some customer’s glasses.
What else can I do to prevent fogging? Using an anti-fog coating on your lens and goggles is also important. When you first purchase goggles, they have an anti-fog coating on them. As you touch or wipe the lenses, this wears off and needs to be reapplied. It is important to not touch the inside of the lens as this wears off any coating. There are many commercial anti-fog coatings available.
Lastly, make sure you keep your goggles in position over your eyes. If you raise them up to your forehead, extra moisture from sweat is introduced to the inside of the goggles. As soon as you bring them back down, the temperature will change and the extra moisture will turn to fog on your lens.
By paying attention to your breath, taking care of your lenses, and correctly wearing goggles, you can make fogging a thing of the past.
Will the ColdAvenger® fit underneath my snowmobile/motorcycle helmet? All of the ColdAvenger® masks are designed to fit underneath both half helmets and full MX type helmets with use of goggles.
Will the ColdAvenger fit under my ski/snowboard/bike helmet? All of the ColdAvenger® masks are designed to fit underneath helmets. If your helmet is particularly tight, this may prevent you from fitting a balaclava underneath.
What is the difference between the Classic Fleece and the Pro Softshell? The only difference between the ColdAvenger® Classic and Pro Softshell is the fabric. Both masks have the exact same ventilator. The Classic is made with “classic” fleece which breathes and insulates well, but is not windproof or water resistant. The Pro is made with “soft-shell” fleece, which is tightly knit fleece with a laminate nylon shell that makes it wind and water resistant. Both have the exact same ventilator which humidifies and warms inhaled air, manages moisture and allows for total free breathing. We usually suggest the Classic to folks who are less active or moving slower and the Pro to folks who are working at a higher rate of activity or moving faster.
What is the difference between the Expedition Balaclava and the FR Balaclava? Both masks have a similar hood and design, but the FR Balaclava is flame resistant and the Expedition is not.
What does the green valve do? The green valve is designed to disrupt direct airflow. The green valve can be rotated to either allow direct airflow through the mask's holes, or turned to provide disruption of direct airflow. The green valve will not stop air from entering the mask.
My green valve popped out. What do I do? Sometimes the green valve on the inside of the mask can pop-off if the mask is bent or squeezed. Simply slide/snap it back in place.
Help! I lost my green valve. If you have lost your green valve, contact us so we can help.
The foam insert is a small piece of foam with a sticky backing. You can stick the foam to the inside of the plastic chamber above the bridge of your nose. This will add cushion and comfort. Some customers find that the nose foam helps prevent fogging as well.
How do I clean my ColdAvenger? The ColdAvenger® is made using only the highest quality materials and therefore should not require much cleaning. If you do have to clean your ColdAvenger® we recommend two methods: (1) Hand wash with mild soap and water, and allow to air dry. Machine washing is not recommended. (2) Simply wipe out the inside of your plastic ventilator with a damp cloth or an alcohol cleaning solution. Most times this is all you need to keep your mask clean.
How should I store my mask? For best results, store you mask in a cool dry location. Do not place too much weight on top of your mask as it can bend or smash the plastic ventilator.

What are my shipping options? We offer free domestic shipping for all U.S. orders, and a variety of options for faster service. You will see shipping options during your checkout. Our free U.S. shipping, and standard shipping, is provided by U.S. Postal Service. Expedited and Overnight services are provided by UPS or FedEx.

If an order is urgent, and you need guaranteed delivery by a certain time, please contact us so we can ensure your shipment is timely.
When do you ship? Orders ship from our warehouse in Montana, USA, on Monday through Friday between 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM MST. We are unable to ship on weekends or Federal holidays. Orders placed after 3:30 PM MST may not be shipped until the following business day.
Overnight Shipping? We are happy to overnight your order, but any overnight request made after 4:00 PM MST cannot be shipped until the following business day based on the policy of UPS and FedEx.
How long will it take to get my order? Delivery time is dependent on the shipping speed selected and the availability of your item(s): - Free U.S. shipping will arrive within 5-7 business days from the day of shipment - Standard shipping (U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail) will arrive within 2-5 business days from the day of shipment - Expedited shipping will arrive within 2 business days from the day of shipment - Overnight shipping will arrive within 1 business day from the day of shipment.
Can you call USPS, UPS or FedEx for me? Unfortunately, we are not allowed to call your local carriers and arrange special shipping or re-delivery. They will only speak with the person receiving the package.

Do you ship to my country? ColdAvenger ships internationally.
Who pays international duties and fees? Your online payment does not include duty fees and taxes that are assessed by your local customs office. Any additional duty fees and taxes assessed at customs are your responsibility.
How long does it take to receive an international order? Speed of delivery depends on what shipping speed you choose at check out. When the package is shipped, it must first go through your country's customs office. Once the package clears customs it will be delivered to you. Customs clearance delays are beyond our control.
What happens if I refuse receipt of my package? If you refuse your order, or do not collect your package from your country's delivery carrier, the package will return to us where we will process a return. We will not process the return until we receive the package at our warehouse.
Your international shipping costs are expensive. What gives? For international shipping, we only select shipping options which are trackable and faster. This means our shipping costs are more expensive, but also safer and faster.
Where is my package? Please check the location of your package by following the tracking link sent to you by email. This email was automatically sent to you when your order was shipped from our office.
If your address was entered incorrectly, or the mail carrier was unable to deliver your package, it will eventually be returned to our warehouse.
If you missed the delivery of your package, please contact your local mail carrier and check if the package is still in your city and deliverable. Many times, your local postal carrier can help arrange re-delivery.
If your package has already started returning to us, and you want re-delivery, please contact us so we do not assume your order is a return. We can arrange for re-shipment.
What is your return policy? We want you to be totally satisfied with your purchase, so we offer the option to return your order within 60 days of purchase.
We cannot accept the return of masks that have been used/worn. We do not consider a mask to be “used/worn” if it was just tried on for fit and sizing. For the health and safety of our other customers we will not accept returns that are dirty, or smell of cigarette or other smoke.
If you return a mask to us that is used, worn, dirty, or damaged, we may ship the mask back to you, or issue only a partial refund.
Do you offer free returns or return labels? If you choose to return your purchase, you will be responsible for the return shipping.
When will my return be processed? Once we receive your return we will issue a refund of the purchase price onto the card used for purchase. It may take up to 10 business days from receipt of your return to issue a refund.
What is the return address? If you would like to return your product, please ship it to: ColdAvenger Returns 806 W. Spruce Missoula, MT 59802. Please include your purchase order number on the box or label.
Do you refund shipping costs? We do not refund shipping costs unless: (1) overnight or expedited shipping was selected with a guaranteed delivery time AND (2) the delivery carrier failed to deliver the item during the guaranteed time frame after shipment from our warehouse. If this has happened, please call us.
I ordered a ColdAvenger on Amazon or Ebay. Can I return it to you? All returns must be initiated through the site that was used to place your order.
ColdAvenger provides a one-year manufacturers warranty against defects and manufacturing errors. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of colors and materials over extended time and use.
