The ventilator – How it works
The soft plastic ventilator on the ColdAvenger masks will warm and humidify incoming air in extreme cold temperatures which helps prevent a drop in core body temperature. The ventilator works by forming a chamber over the nose and mouth. Incoming cold, dry air will mix with warm, humid exhaled air. This dynamic mixing produces warm air for the user. Holes in the ventilator allow for unrestricted free breathing.
